Alright, y’all = the ONE ROOM CHALLENGE is well underway and I’ve been BUSY-BUSY, getting all those interior design plans in place in order to transform our ENTRYWAY space from “Blah City” to “Hot Damn” in only six weeks time! Yep, one week down, only five more to go!! 😅 For those of you who are reading this blog post right now and are feeling bit lost as to what I’m talking about, you can read more about this whole ONE ROOM CHALLENGE thing by clicking here.
When dreaming up the potential in this space, I will be the first one to admit that Pinterest has been a HUGE help to me as I’ve mulled over the many different directions an entryway could go. I mean, SURE, I [of course] had a good idea of how I want the ENTRYWAY to turn out in the end per say but nothing is absolute concrete in my mind’s eye at the moment. Thus these beautiful inspo pics I’ve pinned on my ENTRYWAY ESSENTIALS board have been a GODSEND!!
Besides being a little indecisive in the ENTRYWAY design department, I keep the momentum of the ONE ROOM CHALLENGE going by emptying the ENTRYWAY of all its original contents [e.i. the console table, stool, umbrella stand, etc.] I even managed to take down its “very nice but not our style” chandelier all by myself 💪🏻 ultimately prepping the entire space for its fresh coats of both ceiling paint and that ULTRA PURE WHITE Behr paint I’ve come to adore!
And honestly that’s about ALL I’ve accomplished in one week’s time, which might have some thinking “UMM, Jenna, you better get a move on!” I’m just trying my VERY BEST at the moment to not compare myself, my designs and my ONE ROOM CHALLENGE‘s progress to anyone else’s but my own. Like any working creative, I am going to attempt to LEAN into the process and ultimately TRUST myself and my abilities 😉 WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS TOGETHER, Y’ALL!!
