Homebird Upholstery is going to have its very own lounge exhibit at the next Oceanside Museum of Arts’ Art After Dark event and I am so flipping excited . . . and honored . . . and overwhelmed [EEK!!!]. It is such a gift for me and my small-but-dreaming-mighty business. For anyone who doesn’t know what Art After Dark is, well, it’s a mash-up of everything artistic, entertaining, and avant-garde – just think art lovers’ costume party with wine, beer, and off-the-beaten path creative entertainment. I’ve been on the Art After Dark committee for over a year now and the one of the many reasons I am in love with Art After Dark is each and every event is based around a different theme. The May 10^th event, where Homebird will be featured, is [wait for it] Dr. Steampunk’s Art Extravaganza. I honestly have no idea what I’m going to wear but who cares 😉 the only thing that matters is I have the chance to share my artwork!
