Last year, I made the realization that I might have majored in the wrong subject, and until recently, there was a little self-doubt about the matter. Oh, whom am I kidding? I’m a creative, so there will always be some uncertainty. The point is, however, I keep feeling this urge to be artistic – to constantly make things. Yes, upholstery gives me tons of “that,” BUT I require more . . . at times. I honestly believe most of this blossoming creativity steams from the fact I’m with someone who truly loves me for me. Love can be the biggest inspiration in life, correct? Well, whether or not you believe that, it definitely was the case for me [personally] with “Four Eyes Love” 🙂

Yes, #meandD relationship help enthused this concept in my righty [not so much lefty] brain. I mean I’ve always gravitated to multimedia works of art. I guess it makes sense that I like to generate stuff into imaginative formations of creative bliss?! With that being said, though, I KNOW our love has nurtured my inventive spirit. I feel whole now; almost as if I could do anything. Life SHOULD imitate art and mine has done just that. For crying out loud, when we went on our first date, I didn’t even have glasses. Then a month later after falling head over heels and one eye-opening examine 😉 I found out I needed help with my vision. I embraced it = thus, we became a four-eyed couple and I truly adore that.

“I am inspired by anything beautiful. Sometime it’s a pair of eyes or flowing gorgeous hair, other times it’s the sky or a sunset. I’ve been inspired by supple skin or the texture of a soft shirt.” – Nadine Velazquez

SO, what do you think of my glasses-inspired pop art? Please be gentle. I kept going back and forth with the “publish” button this morning. Don’t get me wrong. I love sharing with you. It’s only that art is sort of like taking a bit of your soul and putting it on display. It’s kind of scary to release into the wild world of the Internet. Yet, I’m still going to take that leap 🙂 ENJOY!
