Sunday is by far my most favorite day of the week.

Why?

Mostly because it’s the start of the #meandD weekend 😉 what can I say? The guy works A LOT and I patiently wait for our fun day together each week.

This past Sunday was polo. My friend, Allison Andrews [yes, that’s right = Ms. Fashion Week San Diego herself!] invited us to join her and her hubby at their V.I.P. table. Neither D or I have ever attended a polo match before, SO this was one for the books – and honestly, we had a blast! We were surrounded by lovely people, cooler weather [thank goodness!], food, champagne, and [of course] the ponies. I was overly impressed with the skills of these riders. I mean I showed horses for 12 years . . . BUT I know for a fact that I could not run around on an animal while swinging that mallet around. HECK, I can barely put one foot in front of the other without gaining a bruise! Lol.  I would TOTALLY end up hitting someone or some animal in the head. We DEFINITELY don’t need that!

Thank you, Allison and Elliot, for the wonderful afternoon! As always, we thoroughly enjoyed your family, friends, and hilariously conversation. This event just made me that much more excited about all the Fashion Week San Diego madness NEXT WEEK!
