As you all know, I love me some sweaters.

However, sweater weather is over for the next six “say it ain’t so” months 🙁

So, yesterday, I decided it was time to finally put them away for another season . . .

[Why, God?! WHY!]

BUT not before I showed them a little love!

Yep. I finally did it. I bought sweater appropriate hangers. Well, sort of 😉 we already had a ton of hangers and I didn’t want to go out and just buy more. So, thanks to the wonderful folks over at The Container Store, I was able found these nifty “shoulder shapers” that pop straight onto your hangers!

See for years, my sweaters have been hanging like this, which is no bueno, especially when you’re in a hurry to go somewhere. I mean don’t get me wrong = I actually don’t mind the act of ironing. However, since we don’t have a laundry-specific room at our current address, I have to drag out the dang board and all the appropriate ironing accouterments every time a sweater has a wrinkle. And who has time for that!?

So, I purchased a few packs of these wonderful solutions and got to hanging. Look how nice they make the shoulders look! Plus, I don’t only NOT have to worry about wrinkles [yes, there was a double negative there], I also never have to deal with those awful hanger bumps ever again. AND that’s a huge win-win in my book!

Now, I know I’m a little dorky and get probably way too excited about little things like this 🙂 but I was raised to take care of the things you own. And let’s face it, I have an expensive taste in sweaters AND plan on wearing most of these babies for years to come. So, in order to do that, small investments like these are necessary.
