DON’T MAKE ME CALL MY FLYING MONKEYS! 🙉 🙈 🙊 Welcome to REVEAL WEEK, color lovers and fellow ORCers 🌈 a reveal week for the ONE ROOM CHALLENGE where I have nothing to reveal and I am so absolutely bummed about it 💔  but that’s just life now . . . things do NOT happen at their usual speed anymore with deliveries [and such] ever since this pandemic took the world 🤒 the rest of my ’70s sofa fabric, not to mention, the area rug, backsplash tile, artwork, ceiling fan, etc. are still missing and have yet to arrive on our doorstep; making it sorta hard for me to finish our FORMAL LIVING ROOM space. BUT I WILL FINISH!

I mean SURE . . . it might end up being more like a 12-week or 18-week ONE ROOM CHALLENGE space [depending on the shipping gods] but I WILL finish 🌈 MARK. MY. WORDS, y’all! I know I will as I am more determined than ever before! I am also dang proud of the renovation process I’ve accomplished thus and I promise to keep that momentum going = starting with new ROOM BLOOM on YouTube episodes next week, so PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE [if you haven’t already] SUBSCRIBE to my YouTube channel 🙏 that way you never miss out on any of my design work/renovation projects. If I could break my 2019 YouTube goal in June 2020 🤣 well, that would definitely help a little with the “not finishing in time” sting of the ORC or the fact that me not finishing ALSO means I’m definitely NOT going to be selected to be on the pages of Better Homes & Gardens magazine either 🤣  LOL! But that doesn’t mean I won’t stop trying to attain that goal OR trying to get my own home renovation show on HGTV either 👷🏻‍♀️ it simply means it just wasn’t my time and that something greater out there is waiting for me 😉 but until then, I am just going to praise my fellow designer friends and their completed Spring 2020 ONE ROOM CHALLENGE spaces!

Jenna’s Spring 2020 ONE ROOM CHALLENGE To-Do List:

• Remove and donate old ceiling fan to Habitat for Humanity. ✅
• Paint the ceiling and walls a bright, inviting white. ✅
• Disassemble old security alarm sensor above master bedroom door. ✅
• Prime/paint interior wood windows. ✅
• Install new window shades. ✅
• Clean & repaint the inside of the fireplace’s firebox. ✅
• Prime/paint the top wood portion of the fireplace structure. ✅
• Install the fireplace’s art installation. ✅
• Create a one-of-a-kind coffee table. ✅
• Teardown 70s circular sofa. ✅
• Reupholster the 1970s circular sofa.
• Remove wallpaper and demo countertop in built-in bar area.
• Install new bar countertop.
• Prime/paint the built-in bar’s wood.
• Tile the built-in bar’s backsplash and sidewalls.
• Create or source additional artwork for living room’s walls + additional decor items.
• Install new ceiling fan.
• Photograph the entire completed space.
