“Talk about a small world! When Jenna, Amy and I realized we had crossed paths at separate creative events, it was a must to arrange a chance to collaborate. Being that Amy is a Stella & Dot stylist, a jewelry party was a no brainer. I love any opportunity to work with creatives and this was a fun one! To add some extra specialness to our jewelry ladies luncheon, I brought my table-top glassware for the bubbly, vase rentals in addition to my developing floral styling. Jenna and I chatted about our color palette, spent some quality time building a Pinterest board . . . that’s how we landed on all things being bright and bold with rose gold details. I was inspired by the patterns and color of the Stella & Dot packaging as well as the stunning interior design of Lucky Little Mustardseed’s headquarters.

When pulling together the vase rentals I wanted to mimic LLM’s DIY Kombucha Bud Vases. The glaring option was my vintage amber glass bottle collection and a few copper vessels. To add some sparkle, I pulled my metallic gold and silver rim glassware and blush wine glasses for our almond champagne. Mixing the vintage pieces with the modern bud vase favors was a fetching match!

Up next – florals! Gotta love a morning flower market meet up for party prep. One of my new favorite past times! I was on the hunt for warm complementary colors with plenty of texture. Our flower recipe: dark purple, pink and orange dahlias, yellow button mums, globe amaranth, pokeweed plant, billy buttons, sunny border blue veronica plant and purple clematis. From there, all it took was quality trimming scissors, bucket o’water and an afternoon in the sun arranging! Years back, a nursery keeper told me when arranging flowers to think: fill. spill. and thrill! With that in mind, I got to work and let the bends of the florals lead the way.

Lucky Little Mustardseed was a mind reading partner in crime for our ladies luncheon with an amazing headquarters taboot! And a big thank you to Amy Garner of Stella & Dot – loved getting her styling tips for our new gems. It was such a blast to partner with these lovely ladies and I’m ever so pleased I could share Madmade Designs vintage rentals, glassware and custom backdrop with the Lucky Little Mustardseed readers. Cheers lovelies!” – Melissa Duncanson
