A few days short of a month ago, #meandD, along with our friends, Matt & Leslie, met Amy Schumer.

By “met,” I mean we had our picture taken with her 😉 and although I’m pretty sure we were more excited to meet Ms. Schumer than she was to meet us, it was still a fun experience. See, we had the opportunity to do a quick “meet & greet” with her right before she took the stage at Harrah’s Resort Southern California. I mean who would pass up an opportunity like that?! ESPECIALLY, when you’re a huge fan of hers AND watch her show on Comedy Central every week AND go through major withdrawals during the off-season. What else can I say? She is hilarious, clever, and isn’t afraid to be a sexual being – something that I COMPLETELY praise her for! Well, her and Beyonce. [BAH!] ANYWAY, her comedic set that night was [of course] impeccable and I left their new gorgeous Events Center with a sore belly and very tired cheeks. So if you have the chance to see Amy Schumer live, DO IT! It’s the right thing to do.
“I just say what I think is the funniest thing I could say. I’m not trying to make headlines. I’m just trying to say the stuff that I think is funny and will make people laugh.” – Amy Schumer
Now, if only I could meet Bryan Callen . . .
hi there – amy schumer is coming to my town and i am DYING to meet her (have my pic taken with her). how did you get the opportunity to meet her? did you wait in a special fan area? thanks for any advice!
Honestly, I knew someone who worked at the venue where she was performing :/ that’s how I met her. How to go about it on your own? I don’t have the slightest clue 🙁 sorry!
