Over the weekend, my new desk was delivered, and needless to say, I’m real happy about it.

I found it on sale from West Elm and used a portion of my saved Christmas money to purchase it. I bought it to help make a little writing space for me, myself, and my few thousand creative ideas. Up until this point, I’ve just been sitting up shop where ever I was: my studio, our dining room table, a coffee shop, sometimes even the living room sofa – I guess that’s one of the benefits of having a notebook, right? However, I don’t want to continue to use up some of my daily energy tidying at the end of each day. So, this desk is a key component to my goal for more productive work weeks.
