Whenever D goes out of town, I always try to complete [at least] one large project. Mostly, to keep the dogs and I from moping around [yes, we are lame] BUT it’s also a great way to get stuff done. Yes, this custom Homebird Upholstery order was actually for our own household and is pathetically something I’ve had the supplies for since last summer.
Sometimes I find it so crazy how difficult it is to finish projects for yourself. I mean I know WHY I kept putting this off. All the measuring, cutting, and figuring how to make these babies from scratch was more than I had energy for in 2013 . . . AND it’s not like I couldn’t handle it either 😉 it’s just that us humans have the ability to build up a job into something so huge and ugly that we are able to give ourselves 7 million and five reasons why we can’t do “it” right now. At the end of the day, however, they are only excuses.
Anyway, the reason I wanted to create these patio furniture covers is this: when we sought to be outside, I desired us to simply be outside. I did NOT enjoy the constant cleaning of the patio furniture, and as I didn’t relish in it, I found it silly to keep doing so. These were my solution = a way for us to work less and delight in more. And honestly, I think I achieved my goal 🙂 and that makes this upholsterer pretty darn happy!

Now, all I have to do is summon up the vigor to recover all the patio furniture cushions. Oh, yes, I’ve had those supplies as well 🙁 wish me luck!
It look great , good ideal , every body needs covers for there patio. Future
Thank you for your kind words, Harry!
All patio furniture or for that fact all outdoor items should be protected with custom covers. Custom Covers should be a neccessity for everyone!
I completely agree, Deb! 🙂
That is so awesome.! What material did you use for this?
Thank you! It’s Dacron.
