I’m in the middle of “Operation Hydrate” [yet again] this morning.

Why?

It’s mostly because I’m still recovering from another #meandD Vegas adventure. Well, I could always use more water in my day [everyday], BUT it’s pretty much because of our fun. See, D had to go to Sin City for a business trip this past week, so once his work finished up, I jumped on a plane, AND man, I’m sure glad I did! I mean we always have a blast together, but there is just something about this adult playground that makes the worrywart in me not have a care in the world 🙂

Wait, where was I? UMMM . . . OH! That’s right.

SO, yea, I joined D on Thursday and we stayed until Saturday. We DID switch things up a bit. Due to some player’s comps, D persuaded me to Encore this time around. We usually ALWAYS stay at the Cosmopolitan. [LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Cosmo!] However, that little tradition MIGHT be changing, because I quickly found out that there is simply nothing that compares to Steve Wynn’s attention to detail. Walking between Encore and Wynn, left my right-brain REELING with inspiration! Can you really blame me, though? Take this artwork for example:

Mixing Business With Pleasure

This is “Tulips” by the incomparable Jeff Koons. The piece is made from high chromium stainless steel with a transparent color coating. It rests in between the two properties by their performance theaters and is merely breathtaking – and THAT is just one of the many beautiful things you can see there. There’s also live floral art, and by live, I mean the flowers are real. [That’s right REAL.] You can actually check one out via my Instagram video. Anyway, our two days there were perfectly filled with liquor, love, and lots of laughter = the flawless equation for a good time.

“The secret of success is learning how to use pain and pleasure instead of having pain and pleasure use you. If you do that, you’re in control of your life. If you don’t, life controls you.” – Tony Robbins

Now, all I need to do is drench my body with aqua like it’s my job 😉 HAPPY MONDAY, Y’ALL!
