📚✏️🍎 Back-To-School Vibes with Cabi Clothing 🍎✏️📚

Just like clockwork. Every year when the month of August rolls around, I start getting these fresh start/back-to-school vibes. You can probably blame it on my Midwest upbringing . . . or maybe . . . just maybe on my lifelong obsession with school supplies 😉 but either way, student or not, I’ve got FALL FASHION on the brain, y’all! AND even though San Diego will be HOT until, well, probably October that hasn’t stopped me from already styling my Cabi Clothing items from their NEW [fantastic] Fall Collection. I’m loving their new clothing options for Fall so much that I’ve actually created THREE different college-inspired outfits for you and your budding wardrobe!

For the first school-ish vibe, I went vintage preppy – layering Cabi’s Turn Back Cardigan over their Snake Charmer Blouse and then pairing that fun combo with the black wash Cinch Skinny; a perfect catch-all jean with its higher rise and wide waistband. I finished off this sporty silhouette with cat-eye glasses and some custom-made VANS leopard slips-on [linked below] ultimately creating a laid-back kind of look that’s not only cute to wear but also acknowledges the TOM BOY in us all.

Next, I dolled things up a bit with Cabi’s new Muse Dress 💃🏻 I see this particular look as an eclectic mix of 90’s style with a splash of aspiring BROADWAY STAR, which hilariously enough is what I believed I was going to be after college 😆 yep, straight-up thought I was the next Ethel Merman but that’s another story for a different day.

To create this “declared theatre major” ensemble, I cinched their Muse Dress around the waist using Cabi’s Beast Belt – locating the belt’s buckle around the backside of the dress and then covering/hiding it with this thrifted men’s vest. This way the dress has a more fitted look on my naturally thin physique. I also polished-off these performance vibes with a long strand of vintage pearls, bright RED fishnet stockings and these orange-tastic snakeskin heels I just purchased online [also linked below]!

For my third & final “school” look, I went library chic and included my favorite pair of Cabi shorts from a past season in this fashionable mix = the Tuxedo Tomboy Short!

Unfortunately, Cabi’s Tuxedo Tomboy Short is no longer available for purchase, but fear not, my style-crazed pals! You can honestly recreate this hip bookworm style with any ole pair of cut-offs; just haphazardly tuck Cabi’s Prowl Top into the front of your shorts, layer “it” with their Checkmate Jacket over top and then roll-up the jacket’s sleeves for an effortless look that will turn even the studious of students heads. Then some glasses/hoops/wedges and BOOM = college wardrobe complete!!
